WALL MOUNTED ALCOLIZER
» BACK TO PRODUCTS

Our flagship product is the Alcolizer Automatic Calibrating wall mounted Alcohol Breathtesting Instrument, the premier of Alcohol Measuring Equipment. This instrument is the only Alcohol Breathtesting device in Australia that is accredited and certified to the Australian Standard (3457) pertaining to breathtesting equipment. There is NO police breath testing unit (including hand held devices [type II] that have achieved this rigorous test in a NATA accredited test laboratory. The self calibrating feature ensures day to day high degree accuracy. The scrolling L.E.D Display message can be customised to reflect company safety, alcohol policy or other messages that suit.

This unit can be optioned with internal and external printer for each reading (evidential model) or interfaced with a Personal Computer (via a Speedlink III) to download up to the last 3000 Blood Alcohol Concentration (B.A.C) readings. It can be set up in a number of configurations to suit the customer. The evidential configuration is one example. This can be very useful in monitoring the effect of Alcohol in the workplace in conjunction with a voluntary alcohol testing policy to determine the impact of Alcohol and health education of the work force.

Australian Standards (AS3547) Certified Alcohol Breath Testing Devices are the minimum requirement under the Liquor Acts in NSW, SA & VIC in order to provide immunity against litigation for Liquor Licensees in those states. The Alcolizer and the AS354 exceed the requirements laid down for testing of Police purchased units.
Some manufacturers advertise the fact their product 'complies' with AS3547. Beware! This is clever use of the English language. Buyers need to look for the 5 ticks and request an AS licence number from the manufacturer. The Alcolizer Licence Number is 1144. The Australian Communications Authority (ACA) previously Austel, also require manufacturers to achieve the 'C Tick' or C.E qualification from the 1st January 1999. Operating equipment that has not been certified to 'C Tick' renders manufacturers and possibly users liable, as interference to the frequency spectrum will not be tolerated by ACA.

The gas calibration method is the most stable method, operating in extremes of ambient temperature without affecting calibration accuracy. Fluid calibration is old technology and very susceptible to changes in ambient temperature, thus affecting accuracy. The Alcolizer is being used widely throughout all mining, transport and other industries, and is now being exported overseas.
